The Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood is proud to be the only Children’s Oncology Group (COG) program in central Florida. Our mission is to cure and prevent childhood and adolescent cancer through scientific discovery and compassionate care. As a full member of the COG, we offer patients the choice of participation in cooperative group clinical trials which give patients and their families the potential of receiving cutting edge, state of the art therapies not otherwise available. Our hematology and oncology services are backed by world-class care, including pediatric subspecialty support, pediatric radiation therapy, clinical pharmacy and laboratory services and social support services. We have our own laboratory, complete with a lab technician in-house, to quickly turn around blood examinations and counts so you don’t have to wait any longer than necessary for the results.
