Certain cancers and other conditions that affect the blood can cause doctors at Florida Hospital for Children to recommend a bone marrow transplant. As Central Florida’s only pediatric bone marrow program, we help children with cancers of the blood, some childhood solid tumors and non-cancerous blood disorders, including sickle cell anemia. Our experts in bone marrow transplants are trained specifically in pediatric transplant, care and recovery.
