Exacting Research by Experts in Their Respective Fields
Nearly every day scientists and medical researchers across the globe are making significant advances in the treatment of diseases and conditions that affect millions of children.
Right here in Central Florida, we at the Florida Hospital for Children Center for Pediatric Research are working hard to find new treatments and cures, offering educators, residents, doctors and partnering institutions the ability to conduct groundbreaking research in state-of-the-art facilities.
The advantages to researchers are considerable. With 90 specialists representing 30 pediatric sub-specialties, researchers can leverage our significant resources in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This allows us to tackle more complex studies while improving the quality of the studies conducted.
Our hospital is widely recognized as one of the finest children’s hospitals in the nation, and our investment in top-quality facilities, highly advanced technologies, cutting-edge clinical trials and a renowned team of experts, draws top researchers to the area to conduct their studies in pediatric medicine.
Unparalleled Support from Beginning to End
One of the keys to our success in research is our concierge-level service to researchers. By removing roadblocks and managing the research process from start to finish, we are able to free up our doctors, educators and residents so that they can concentrate on their strengths in research and make the best use of their limited time.
As you can imagine, the research process can be extremely complex. Our team ensures that proper procedures are in place to protect the health and interests of patients participating in studies and the integrity of the study.
Best of all, our research support team’s collective expertise and broad knowledge adds tremendous value to our research projects, allowing us to bring in subject-matter experts and create studies that incorporate numerous specialties.
