Eric R. Trumble, MD

Medical Director of Congenital Surgery

Board certified in both adult and pediatric neurosurgery, Dr. Trumble decided to focus his career in medicine on treating children. His interest in the area of congenital neurosurgery began at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond Virginia, where he served his residency in neurosurgery. He went on to complete his fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, in Texas. 

Education and Experience

Dr. Trumble received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Charlottesville. He earned his bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering before entering the medical field.

Dr. Trumble is a highly respected expert on congenital neurological diseases and has been published in countless pediatric and pediatric-neurosurgical journals, as well as general neurosurgical publications.

His expertise in the field has greatly benefitted his young patients who require an accurate diagnosis and treatment with the latest advances in medicine available, including clinical trials.
