With its international reputation for superior care, Florida Hospital has attracted some of the best health care talent in the world to Central Florida. Highly experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about their practice and patients, our board-certified physicians adhere to the highest standards of excellence.
The Florida Hospital for Children Healthy 100 Kids initiative is made up of a multidisciplinary team including a physician specialist, nutritionist, exercise specialist and psychologist in addition to support staff. This core team will assess each individual circumstance to custom tailor a treatment program. Since overweight children are at risk for hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, asthma, sleep apnea/sleep-disordered breathing, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, musculoskeletal problems and depression, we may refer patients to other subspecialists.
We believe our highly-experienced and knowledgeable team, along with our comprehensive treatment approach, will help children and families get back on track to leading a happier, healthier life.
