While Florida Hospital for Children offers comprehensive pediatric programs, we are particularly known for:
- The only bone marrow transplantation program and pediatric transplant team in the region
- A highly experienced team of 80 pediatric sub-specialists, representing 30 different pediatric specialties
- A Pediatric Emergency Department that is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and, is design especially with children in mind, featuring a scare-free zone complete with customizable room themes
- The most advanced pediatric imaging services, including PET, 64-slice CT and 3T MRI, one of only two hospitals in the country to have this technology
- An 81-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with private, family-centered rooms
- Pediatric oncology programs that are at the very forefront of research and clinical trials
- The region's first neuro-oncology and neurofibromatosis programs
- A pediatric sleep center to diagnose and treat sleep-related conditions for children as young as two-and-a-half years of age
- Minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery, that significantly reduces pain and scarring and greatly shortens recovery time
- Weight-management and Healthy100 Kids programs that emphasizes wellness and health to fight the epidemic of childhood obesity and children's diabetes
